BEEF BALLS

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk (optional for moisture)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix everything together until well combined. If the mixture feels dry, add the milk a little at a time to achieve the desired consistency.
  3. Roll the beef mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the beef balls to the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve the beef balls as is, or with your favorite sauce, such as marinara or gravy.
