Bay Leaf Skin Toner Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 dried bay leaves
  • 1½ cups water
  • 1 teaspoon witch hazel (optional, for oily skin)
  • 2–3 drops of tea tree or lavender essential oil (optional)
  • Small spray bottle or glass jar

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add bay leaves and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and let the liquid cool completely with the bay leaves still in it.
  4. Strain the mixture into a clean bowl or bottle.
  5. Add witch hazel and essential oil if using, and stir gently.
  6. Pour into a spray bottle or jar.
  7. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

To use: Spray or apply with a cotton pad to clean skin once or twice a day.
