Ingredients
- 5 dried bay leaves
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (pure, preferably organic)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or almond oil
- Optional: 2-3 drops vitamin E oil
Instructions
- Boil the bay leaves:
In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add the dried bay leaves and let them simmer for 5–7 minutes until the water is infused. - Strain and cool:
Remove from heat and strain out the leaves. Let the bay leaf water cool completely. - Mix ingredients:
In a small bowl, combine the cooled bay leaf water with aloe vera gel and coconut oil. Stir until smooth. Add vitamin E oil if using. - Apply to face:
Use a cotton pad or your fingertips to apply the mixture to a clean, dry face, especially around the eyes, forehead, and mouth where wrinkles are more visible. - Leave on:
Let it sit for 20–30 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water. Pat dry and moisturize as usual.
Use:
Repeat 2–3 times a week for best results. Store any leftover mixture in the fridge for up to 3 days.
