Ingredients
- 5–6 dried bay leaves
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel (optional, for added hydration)
- 1 teaspoon rose water (optional, for fragrance and skin toning)
Instructions
- Boil the Bay Leaves
In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add the bay leaves and let them simmer for 5–7 minutes until the water turns a light greenish color. - Cool and Strain
Turn off the heat and allow the liquid to cool completely. Strain out the bay leaves and pour the water into a clean glass container. - Add Optional Ingredients
For extra benefits, you can mix in aloe vera gel and rose water once the liquid has cooled. - Apply to Skin
Using a cotton pad, apply the bay leaf tonic to clean skin, focusing on areas with fine lines and wrinkles. Leave it on overnight or rinse off after 30 minutes. - Storage
Store the leftover toner in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before each use.
Use Tip:
Apply daily for best results. You may start to notice smoother, firmer skin within a week of consistent use.
