Ingredients
- 5β6 dried bay leaves
- 1Β½ cups water
- 1 green tea bag (optional, for added antioxidants)
- 1 tsp rose water (optional, for fragrance and skin-soothing properties)
- Cotton pads or a clean spray bottle
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the bay leaves (and green tea bag if using). Reduce heat and simmer for 5β7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
- Strain the liquid and discard the leaves (and tea bag).
- Stir in rose water if using.
- Transfer to a spray bottle or store in a jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

- Use as a facial toner: Apply with a cotton pad after washing your face.
- Use as a facial mist: Spritz onto clean skin morning and evening.
- For a steam facial: Add the hot bay leaf infusion to a bowl, lean over it with a towel over your head, and steam your face for 5β10 minutes.
