Bay Leaf Facial Tonic – A Natural Skin Revitalizer

Ingredients

  • 5–6 dried bay leaves
  • 1Β½ cups water
  • 1 green tea bag (optional, for added antioxidants)
  • 1 tsp rose water (optional, for fragrance and skin-soothing properties)
  • Cotton pads or a clean spray bottle

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the bay leaves (and green tea bag if using). Reduce heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
  4. Strain the liquid and discard the leaves (and tea bag).
  5. Stir in rose water if using.
  6. Transfer to a spray bottle or store in a jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

🟫 How to Use:

  • Use as a facial toner: Apply with a cotton pad after washing your face.
  • Use as a facial mist: Spritz onto clean skin morning and evening.
  • For a steam facial: Add the hot bay leaf infusion to a bowl, lean over it with a towel over your head, and steam your face for 5–10 minutes.

Always do a patch test before applying any new treatment to your face. If you’re interested in actual wrinkle-reducing skincare, I can recommend dermatologist-backed options.
