INGREDIENTS
- 5–6 dried bay leaves (preferably organic)
- 1 cup distilled water
- 1 teaspoon witch hazel (optional, for added astringent effect)
- 2–3 drops vitamin E oil or rosehip oil (optional, for skin nourishment)
- A small spray bottle or glass container
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring 1 cup of distilled water to a gentle boil.
- Add the dried bay leaves to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for another 10–15 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a clean bowl and allow it to cool completely.
- (Optional) Add the witch hazel and/or vitamin E/rosehip oil to the cooled bay leaf water.
- Pour the mixture into a spray bottle or glass container.
🌿 TO USE:
- Use as a facial toner by applying with a cotton pad or spritzing directly on the face (avoid eyes).
- Store in the fridge for up to 5–7 days for best freshness.
- Use twice daily on clean skin.
