Ingredients
- 5–6 dried bay leaves
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or coconut oil)
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (optional, for extra hydration)
Instructions
- In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
- Add the bay leaves and simmer for about 5–10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the liquid cool down completely.
- Strain the liquid into a clean bowl.
- Add the olive oil (and aloe vera gel, if using) and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a clean glass jar or bottle.
- To use:
- Cleanse your face thoroughly.
- Using a cotton pad, apply the bay leaf toner all over your face, focusing on areas with fine lines or wrinkles.
- Gently massage a few drops of the oil mixture onto your skin.
- Leave it on overnight or rinse after 30 minutes, depending on your skin’s sensitivity.
- Use this natural remedy 2–3 times a week for best results.
Note:
Bay leaf has mild antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which may help your skin look refreshed — but it’s not “100,000 times stronger than Botox.” It won’t erase deep wrinkles overnight, but it can be part of a gentle self-care routine. Always do a patch test to check for any skin reactions!
