Banana Split Fluff Salad recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 ½ cups chopped strawberries
  • 1 cup chopped bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened (about 2 minutes).
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  3. Stir in the drained crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, chopped strawberries, bananas, and nuts (if using).
  4. Add the mini chocolate chips or chopped chocolate and mix gently.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Just before serving, top with maraschino cherries for a classic banana split touch.
