This classic Banana Pudding recipe is a perfect dessert for any occasion, with layers of creamy vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and crunchy vanilla wafers.
Ingredients:
- 1 (5 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 (8 oz) tub of whipped topping (or heavy cream, whipped)

- Stir in the vanilla extract and 1/2 of the whipped topping (or whipped cream) to the pudding mixture. Fold gently until smooth.
- In a serving dish, layer the vanilla wafers at the bottom.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas over the wafers.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas and wafers.
- Repeat the layers: wafers, bananas, and the rest of the pudding.
- Top with the remaining whipped topping and spread it evenly over the pudding.
- Cover and refrigerate the pudding for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to let the flavors meld and the wafers soften.
- Serve chilled and enjoy your delicious, homemade banana pudding!
