Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 cup plain or Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)
- 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water (adjust to desired consistency)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- A few ice cubes
Instructions
- Peel the banana and place it in a blender.
- Add the freshly grated ginger, lemon juice, yogurt (if using), water or coconut water, and honey.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add ice cubes and blend again until frothy and cold.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or ginger to your liking.
- Pour into a glass, garnish with a lemon slice if you like, and enjoy immediately!
