These delicious turkey balls are a creative way to use up leftover turkey from holiday meals. Packed with flavor and simple to prepare, they make a great appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked turkey (shredded or finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or panko)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil (for frying, or you can bake)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, green onions, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the turkey balls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Alternatively, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the turkey balls on a lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.
  4. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, gravy, or cranberry sauce.

Enjoy these tasty, crispy turkey balls!
