Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Potatoes: Scrub the potatoes clean and pat them dry. Prick each potato a few times with a fork.
  3. Oil and Salt: Rub each potato with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Bake: Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet. Bake for 45–60 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and a fork easily pierces through the center.
