Ingredients
- 2 lobster tails (5–6 ounces each)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: fresh chopped parsley and lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the lobster tails:
- Using kitchen scissors, cut down the center of the shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail. Gently lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell for a “butterflied” presentation.
- Pat the lobster meat dry with paper towels.
- Make the garlic butter:
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter generously over the exposed lobster meat.
- Bake:
- Place the lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 140–145°F or 60–63°C).
- Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for a lightly browned top.
- Serve hot with extra melted butter, a sprinkle of parsley, and lemon wedges.
