Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or Italian sausage)
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream (optional for creamier texture)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low for 5–10 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm cooked spaghetti with cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until the noodles are well coated and creamy.
  6. Spread the spaghetti mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Pour the meat sauce over the spaghetti. Use a spoon or spatula to spread it evenly.
  8. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  10. Let rest for 5–10 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

Serve and enjoy your creamy, cheesy comfort food!
