- 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or Italian sausage)
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup sour cream (optional for creamier texture)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low for 5–10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm cooked spaghetti with cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until the noodles are well coated and creamy.
- Spread the spaghetti mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the meat sauce over the spaghetti. Use a spoon or spatula to spread it evenly.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
