Bacon Ranch Chicken Salad recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped or shredded
  • 1/3 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch seasoning. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Add in the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, red onion, celery, and shredded cheese (if using).
  3. Stir everything together until evenly coated and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Serve chilled over lettuce, in a sandwich, with crackers, or in a wrap.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving, if desired.
