Bacon Ranch Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lettuce leaves or sandwich bread, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch seasoning. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  2. Add the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, celery, red onion, and parsley. Stir until everything is evenly coated in the dressing.
  3. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  5. Serve chilled over lettuce leaves, in a sandwich, wrap, or with crackers.
