Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger Wrap – the ultimate comfort food

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1½ cups prepared mac and cheese (homemade or boxed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices cooked crispy bacon
  • ½ cup pickles (optional)
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce or burger sauce (optional)
  • Butter or oil, for grilling wraps

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Mac and Cheese:
Make your mac and cheese according to package directions or your favorite recipe.
  3. Assemble the Wraps:
Lay a tortilla flat. In the center, layer a scoop of mac and cheese, some cooked beef, 2 slices of bacon, a sprinkle of shredded cheddar, and pickles or sauce if using.
  4. Fold and Wrap:
Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll up tightly like a burrito.
  5. Grill the Wraps:
Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of butter or oil. Place wraps seam-side down and grill until golden and crispy on all sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve:
Slice in half and enjoy while warm!
