Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12-14 eggroll wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Break it into crumbles as it cooks.
    • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
    • Stir in the cooked bacon, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.
    • Remove the skillet from heat and mix in shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese. Stir until the cheeses are fully melted and the filling is creamy.
    • Set the filling aside to cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Eggrolls:
    • Lay out an eggroll wrapper with one corner pointing toward you (in a diamond shape).
    • Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cheeseburger filling near the center of the wrapper.
    • Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, then fold in the two sides tightly. Roll it up like a burrito, sealing the top corner with a little beaten egg.
    • Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. Fry the Eggrolls:
    • Heat about 1½ inches of vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
    • Fry the eggrolls in batches, 3-4 at a time, for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
    • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve:

Enjoy your crispy, savory bacon cheeseburger eggrolls!
