🛒 INGREDIENTS
- 2 cans apple pie filling
- 10 soft flour tortillas
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter (unsalted)
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor)
👩🍳 INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spoon about 1/4 cup of apple pie filling down the center of each tortilla.
- Roll up each tortilla and place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add white sugar, brown sugar, and water. Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the rolled tortillas.
- Let it sit for 45 minutes (this helps the tortillas absorb the sauce).
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
💡 TIPS
- Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra crunch.
- Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top before baking for stronger flavor.
- For a caramel twist, drizzle caramel sauce before serving.
- Best served warm for that gooey apple pie texture.
- Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat before serving.
