- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 medium apples, peeled and diced (about 2 cups)
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp milk or cream
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
Instructions
- Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan thoroughly.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, vegetable oil, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla extract.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with sour cream, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in Apples and Almonds: Gently fold in the diced apples and sliced almonds.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Glaze: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, almond extract, and milk or cream (add gradually until you reach your desired consistency). Drizzle over the cooled cake.
- Serve and Enjoy!
