- 2 cups buttermilk

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
- Combine wet ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
- Prepare cinnamon-sugar topping: In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
- Layer batter and topping: Pour half of the batter into each prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over each layer of batter. Top with the remaining batter and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake: Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Let the bread cool in the pans for 10-15 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
