Air Fryer Poached Eggs


Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water (per ramekin or silicone cup)
  • Cooking spray or oil (for greasing ramekins)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    Set your air fryer to 330°F (165°C) and let it preheat for about 3–5 minutes.
  2. Prepare Ramekins:
    Lightly grease 2 small ramekins or silicone muffin cups with cooking spray or oil.
  3. Add Water and Egg:
    Pour 2 tablespoons of water into each ramekin. Crack one egg into each ramekin, being careful not to break the yolk.
  4. Place in Air Fryer:
    Carefully place the ramekins into the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook:
    Air fry at 330°F (165°C) for 5–6 minutes for a runny yolk, or 7–8 minutes for a more set yolk. Adjust time based on your air fryer model and preferred doneness.
  6. Remove and Serve:
    Use tongs or oven mitts to carefully take out the ramekins. Gently remove the eggs with a spoon. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Use fresh eggs for best results.
  • Swirl the egg slightly with a spoon before cooking if you want a neater shape.
