Air Fryer Poached Eggs

Description

Air fryer poached eggs are a new and amazing way to enjoy perfectly cooked eggs without babysitting the stove. They are quick, easy, and turn out beautifully with soft whites and runny yolks. This method is less messy than traditional stovetop poaching since there’s no large pot of water to manage. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or topping toast, salads, and grain bowls. Healthy, simple, and ready in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons water (2 tablespoons per ramekin)
  • Cooking spray (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Lightly grease two small ramekins with cooking spray (optional).
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of water into each ramekin.
  4. Crack one egg into each ramekin, directly over the water.
  5. Carefully place the ramekins into the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes, depending on how runny you like your yolk.
  7. Remove carefully and use a spoon to lift the egg out.
  8. Season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.

Tips

  • For a firmer yolk, cook an extra 1–2 minutes.
  • Use room-temperature eggs for more even cooking.
  • Check at the 5-minute mark to avoid overcooking.
  • If the egg sticks, run a knife gently around the edge before removing.
  • Serve on toast, avocado toast, English muffins, or over sautéed vegetables.
