Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Spread butter or mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Assemble the sandwich:
    • Place cheese slices between the unbuttered sides of the bread, with the buttered sides facing out.
    • Add extras like tomato or herbs if using.
  4. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket. Use a toothpick to secure the bread if needed.
  5. Air fry at 360°F (180°C) for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy on both sides and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove carefully and let cool for 1 minute before slicing.
