- 2 slices of bread (your choice: white, sourdough, whole wheat, etc.)
- 1–2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, mozzarella, or a blend)
- 1–2 tablespoons butter or mayonnaise
- Optional: garlic powder, herbs, or tomato slices for extra flavor
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 2–3 minutes.
- Spread butter or mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Assemble the sandwich:
- Place cheese slices between the unbuttered sides of the bread, with the buttered sides facing out.
- Add extras like tomato or herbs if using.
- Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket. Use a toothpick to secure the bread if needed.
- Air fry at 360°F (180°C) for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy on both sides and the cheese is melted.
- Remove carefully and let cool for 1 minute before slicing.
Tips:
- Use parchment paper under the sandwich to reduce mess.
- Don’t overload with cheese or fillings to ensure even melting.
