Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (hot)
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee

  • 3 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cornflour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  2. Add a little milk and whisk until smooth (no lumps).
  3. Pour in the remaining hot milk and add instant coffee. Stir well.
  4. Microwave for 1–2 minutes, stirring halfway, until thick and creamy.
