Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) instant yeast
- 1 ¼ cups warm water
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and instant yeast.
- Gradually add warm water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a Dutch oven, place it inside the oven while it preheats.
- Lightly flour a surface, turn out the dough, and shape it into a ball.
- Place the dough in a parchment-lined Dutch oven or on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
