Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (21 oz) can lemon pie filling
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the lemon pie filling evenly over the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of softened cream cheese over the pie filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over everything.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly across the top of the cake mix. Try to cover as much as possible.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or chilled — great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
