3-Minute Microwave Fudge Recipe

This recipe is a super quick and easy way to make delicious fudge in just a few minutes using your microwave. It’s perfect for when you need a sweet treat in a hurry.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate chips)  
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk  
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract  
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc.)  
  • Optional: Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan: Grease and line an 8×8 inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal.
  2. Combine Chocolate and Condensed Milk: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Microwave: Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well. Microwave for another 30 seconds. Stir again until smooth. If the chocolate is not completely melted, microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.  
  4. Add Vanilla and Optional Ingredients: Stir in the vanilla extract, nuts (if using), and salt (if using).
  5. Pour into Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Cool and Set: Let the fudge cool completely at room temperature for at least 2 hours, or until firm. You can also refrigerate it to speed up the setting process.
  7. Cut and Serve: Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut it into squares and serve.

  • Chocolate Variations: Use different types of chocolate chips like dark chocolate, white chocolate, or peanut butter chips.
