Ingredient
- 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
- 1 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instruction
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth. - Lay Out the Noodles:
Lay the cooked lasagna noodles flat on a clean surface, such as a cutting board or parchment paper. - Assemble the Roll-Ups:
Spread 2-3 tablespoons of the cheese mixture evenly over each noodle. Sprinkle a small amount of the cooked sausage on top of the cheese. - Roll and Arrange:
Gently roll each noodle from one end to the other, keeping the filling inside. Place each roll seam-side down in the prepared baking dish. - Add Sauce and Cheese:
Pour marinara sauce evenly over the roll-ups. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top. - Bake:
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden. - Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm.
